Hey there, former YA protagonists! 🎬✨
Listen, we know why you’re here. At some point between 2005 and 2015, you were obsessed with a book series that changed your life. You had a dreamcast for the movie adaptation before Hollywood ruined it. You posted cryptic, overly emotional Goodreads reviews. You may or may not have fake-gasped in shock when your fave character died (even though you saw the foreshadowing 200 pages earlier).
And now? We’re bringing it all back.
Welcome to the Throwback Bookly Readathon, where we time-travel straight into the era of dystopian rebellions, tragic love triangles, brooding bad boys, and unnecessarily long character names.
Last readathon, we were all about 🚀 fresh starts. This time? We’re resurrecting our chaotic bookish past.
Did you once consider overthrowing the government after reading The Hunger Games? Were you positive your soulmate had fangs or his skin sparkled? Do you still think about the one book quote that shaped your entire personality?
If you answered “yes” (or just screamed internally), this readathon is for you.
THROWBACK BOOKLY READATHON
From April 24th to May 4th, we’re throwing it back for 11 days of pure bookish nostalgia—dust off your YA favorites, relive the drama, and embrace the nostalgia. Whether you’re diving back into dystopian rebellions, rekindling your vampire obsession, or finally reading the book you totally finished in 2012 (😉), this readathon is your time machine. 📚✨
Registration opens April 3rd and runs until April 23rd! Signing up is easy: update your Bookly app, tap “JOIN” on the Readathon tab, and start tracking your reading sessions. ⭐
Oh, and don’t forget to make your teenage self proud—use #BooklyReadathon on social media to flex your progress, find fellow ex-Twilight stans, and fuel the bookish chaos.
It’s time to revisit the books that made you who you are. Maybe you’re finally ready to reread your first-ever book obsession, or maybe it’s time to pick up the one you definitely lied about finishing in middle school. Either way—you’re in for a literary fever dream.

Final Thoughts: It’s Time to Turn the Page… Backwards
Remember when you low-key believed you had supernatural powers after reading Hush, Hush? Or when you’d stare dramatically out the window, imagining you were about to be sent to a deadly competition? Or when you genuinely thought trench coats were the height of fashion because some mysterious book character wore one?
Yeah. Same.
This is your chance to relive it all. Whether you’re here for the vampires, the rebellions, the overly poetic monologues, or just to prove your teenage self right—this readathon is your moment.
So, what’s it gonna be? Are you the Chosen One, the rebellious underdog, or the mysterious loner who speaks in book quotes?
📖 Sign up today and let’s make the 2012 you proud.
