Attention, everyone! We’ll be going under extreme reading challenges! All the rumors were true, we have a new Bookly readathon coming soon 😉.

It’s a new year and we know you’ve already set your reading goals for 2022. So have we!

But as much as we want to stick to our TBR list and new resolutions – gotta read ’em all! – things can quickly get overwhelming, at least at first.

Have your books started to pile up like crazy? Don’t worry! The best way to overcome your reading fears is to simply go all-in and join our Arctic Bookly Readathon.

Get ready for a frosty adventure ❄️

This time, why not push yourself even more and compete against fellow bookworms around the world? Challenge your friends and become the winner of our reading race!

The forecast will get un-brr-lievable, so make sure you mark it on your calendar. We’re counting on you to join us between January 27th-30th for the Arctic Bookly Readathon!

Do you think you can handle our “extreme” reading challenges?

You do? Then pack your books (e-books and audiobooks too ), gear up, and start the journey!

We’ll all follow Bloo’s footsteps through the icy snow, as he’s also determined to earn his rightful place in our readathon:

🐧 Hungry Puffin – read at least 400 pages

🐺 Daring Wolf – read between 400-700 pages

🐋 Breaching Whale – read more than 700 pages

Do you already have a list of the books you’re going to read? AWESOME! But, just in case, we’ve prepared a few prompts too.

Arctic Bookly Readathon Prompts:

  • A Book With Blue On The Cover
  • A Book With Silver On The Cover
  • A Book About A Journey
  • A Book Set In Winter
  • A Book With The Word “Cold” In The Title
  • A Dystopian or Fantasy Book

When is the readathon taking place?

From January 27th to January 30th

What do I need to do?

Read more than 400 pages during the readathon.

You can do this!

Where can I sign up?

How to sign up for our #BooklyReadathon:

  1. If you’re an iOS user, you can sign up directly on the special Readathon Tab (make sure to get the latest update) that we’re currently testing on the Bookly App, or, if you’re an Android user, please fill out this form as usual;
  2. (optional) Give us a shoutout on your social media to help us spread the word! Share our readathon-related post and make sure to tag us 🤗.

Hurry up! Registrations for the Arctic #BooklyReadathon are open only until January 26th, 11:59 PM EST.

What’s in it for me?

According to each level, we’re offering three Bookshop.org Vouchers* to three lucky winners that we’ll choose randomly after the readathon ends:

👉 The Hungry Puffin – 15$

👉 The Daring Wolf – 25$

👉 The Breaching Whale – 50$

*As Bookshop.org Gift Cards are only available for shipping within the US, in the case of a non-US resident winner, we will turn to other bookstores available in your country.

How do I win?

It’s simple! First, use the Bookly App to track all your reading sessions.

If you’ve signed up through Bookly App, at the end of our readathon, you can export your Custom Reading Report directly through the app.

If you’ve signed up through our form, on January 31st, export your Custom Reading Report and submit it 👉 here.

Here’s a video on how you can export your report:

Don’t forget to use the #BooklyReadathon hashtag in your posts & stories so we can follow along on your progress.

Happy reading and let the frosty race begin! 💙💙

I’m the Bookly app, the readathon had a start date of 1/26/22 at 1900 and and an end date of 1/30 but of 2021. If says the readathon’s over but it just started. I’d like to be able to capture my progress in the app, but I’m not sure if it will as it doesn’t show the readathon as active. Can someone check out the settings for it?

    Thanks!

Hi Kayla! We’re sorry for the inconvenience, we indeed had a bug within the app, so the Readathon didn’t display correctly for a few hours, but we fixed it quickly. Hope it all went smoothly for you and that you enjoyed our Readathon! Happy reading 😀

  2. The app is already telling me this readathon is over. The time parameters appear to be set Jan 26, 2022 – Jan 30, 2021 for it. So the ending date was last year. How do we fix this? Nothing is generating for my progress/report as a result of this historically past end date.
