I have been wanting to read this book for years because I was always drawn to the idea of a magical circus. This book was everything that I wanted and more.
Here’s my book review for 🎪 The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern:
There are certain books that stay with you long after you finish reading them, and I know that this is one of those books for me.
The writing is absolutely gorgeous. I found myself smiling throughout the entire novel because the descriptions were so whimsical and allowed me to see exactly what Morgenstern was describing.
I really enjoyed the writing style and it was unlike any novel that I have read. It had such a magical feeling and it made me so excited to pick up my book every day.
I enjoyed the main storyline, as well as Bailey’s storyline. I also loved the descriptions of the different magical tents sporadically placed throughout the book. I was enjoying all of these elements on their own, but I was pleasantly surprised when Bailey, Celia, and Marco’s paths ended up crossing.
The whole description and idea of the rêveurs made me want to go and get a red scarf to be part of such a cool group of people. I could go on for hours and hours in this book review about the atmosphere of the circus and the people involved, I was so full of awe and wonder. I loved it.
Overall, this book gave me everything that I could have wanted from a magical circus. There was love, as well as magical kittens doing somersaults.
What more did I need? I rate this novel 5/5 stars! 🌟
